Club Welfare Officers

Caroline says: "I became involved in girls football when my daughters started playing as part of the FA Wildcats initiative in 2019. Playing football remains the highlight of my daughter’s week.”

Catherine says: “I have three daughters playing in Blewbury Amazons teams and the club has played a significant role in our family life. I have seen at first hand the way playing football has contributed to Amazons girls’ confidence, resilience and happiness.”

As Welfare Officers, we are responsible for managing and reporting concerns about children (under 18s), and for putting into place procedures to safeguard children involved in the club’s activities, whether as players, referees or otherwise. If you are an adult (18 or over) and have any concerns about the welfare of a child in our club, or if you are under 18 and have any concerns about your welfare or the welfare of other children, please do not hesitate to contact us.
